Oooh I love this song!

And I can't believe I've never heard of this song. . .

Now and then. No holds barred conversations can be fun. 'Cos it gets tiring to talk in circles and keep at guessing what the other party is thinking. (Though I don't deny their role in spicing things up at times) But of course. With barriers like vulnerability and awkwardness in play, we could all do with a little help. So thank you, Cordon Bleu.

I guess love doesn't get any sadder than this.

I'm in love with a married guy, who happens to be a childhood friend. He was recently in Singapore and finally confessed to me 3 years after he sealed his fate. Turns out he's been in love with me since the age of 12.. just like I've been. I'm 28, so we wasted 16 years. It sucks. Cos he's not only married, but 8000 miles away. I alternate between moments of bliss (when we get to talk), and suicidal thoughts.

Lots of fun this week. 3 movies! On the week before my FYP presentation. Perfecto.

Just blogging 'cos I feel bad about polluting someone's mind. Not that it's gonna change anything. But I'm reminded of why it's always advisable to think twice before you act. Good writing oughta be shared. But when it's about something like sex you get flak like are you sure you're allowed to read this. Sorry for not fitting into your stereotype. That aside, things wrapped up with a 'I don't know whether to scold you or thank you for this.' So yes, we all know she's gonna be a regular reader of the site from now on.

Banquet was pretty awesome. I declare myself a fan of wuxia films! Haha.

Oh no. This site has been left to wither away. I doubt anyone's gonna believe me. But I've been mad busy 'cos of school. Maybe one isn't supposed to watch any tv at all in final year. But I fear that -I- may wither away instead if that happened.

Ok maybe that isn't such a good expression. Not after reading Chasing Daylight. Was wondering why the people sitting next to me on the train were staring weirdly when I realised it's no-wonder when a 20-something reads a book with chapters like The Business Of Dying Is Hard and The Best Death Possible. That aside, it being depressing and a weebit morbid, I found it to be a good read. A good reminder of life, its fragility and beauty - definitely something to be kept at the back of one's mind and reevaluated from time to time.

I especially like the title Chasing Daylight - chasing, making the most of the short span of time between the end of day and nightfall. The author likened it to his fave time to play golf (and his last days of course); it reminded me so much of softball days when we continued batting and fielding even when the remnants of daylight was barely enough for us to see the ball and we even stuck to using the bright yellow balls hoping somehow that they'd glow? Haha. That's purely my guess - I think someone just said they're easier to spot than the white/grey worn-out ones.

"It is never good dwelling on goodbyes - It is not the being together that it prolongs, it is the parting."
