One of my favourites - one of those ones that would distract me from whatever I'm doing when I hear it on the radio. And no one sings it the way that Elliott does.

Check out this funny video that I found.

Strangely enough, I think I'm starting to appreciate the art of soccer. I'm not sure if it's WorldCup soccer or just me, but somehow the matches no longer seem boring and slow. I almost got a heart attack from the stupid Italy-Australia match. Ah. The cruelty of soccer. Felt so sorry for Aust, having their hopes crushed just 5 secs before the final whistle. Why can't they just learn from hockey and rewatch play footage to overthrow the referee's bad calls?

Him: As long as you're working, I'll cook dinner.
Her: As long as you're working, I'll... wear this ring.

Now that's what married life should be like. Haha.

Finally back from my travels. Much as I wish I had more time to travel, I'm glad to be home. It's kinda scary how my room felt so strange and unfamiliar when I got back.

And I'm so glad to have the internet again. Here's something good from my fave site:

PS: The Oilers lost the Stanley Cup. What the puck!

Think I had a lil too much to drink. Even though it was just 2 martinis and a beer. I'm damn sure that the alcohol content here is way higher than back home. But I'm plannign to go drinking every single day next week. Just for the heck of it. Haha. Plus it's hockey finals next week. Very tempted to go watch people smashing windows, setting fires, starting fights and climbing traffic lights/lamp posts and falling to break their limbs BUT maybe it's not that safe..

And since I was tagged by Tiff, here goes.

24 interesting facts/things/habits about yourself:

1. Over the years, I think I've become more and more private as a person - not sure why though - maybe we should blame the people around me? But it does mean one thing -- don't think of getting anything juicy out of the next 23 points I'm about to make? Haha.

2. I'm kinda like a messy person - never bothered to unpack my stuff since I arrived so my luggage has pretty much been my closet over the lsat few weeks.

3. I'm personally against the idea of grandpas (think 81 years old and riding in a scooter for the aged) being on Viagra. No I don't wanna listen to all that stuff about it being a need or part of life and all. They should just stick to watching their grandkids or tv.

4. I love watching action hero movies like Spiderman, Superman, Batman, X-men and secretly wish I had -some- form of super power too.

5. To add to point 4, I've taken forever but I still haven't decided on the super power that I want to have. Ice? Fire? Speed? Flight? I wish I had them all.

6. Common as they are, the question I hate most at interviews is 'What are you weaknesses/strengths?'

7. The first thing I do in the morning when I wake up is to thank/praise the Lord and then brush my teeth. Point being: I realised that many people have breakfast before they brush their teeth. That's just so weird and impossible to me.

8. I'm not comfortable with absolute silence. Which is why I don't really like studying in libraries, and I have my iPod plugged in (on timer) when I go to bed every night. Back home it's either the hi-fi or iPod plugged to speakers.

9. The music's usually on for an hour but 90% of the time I'm fast asleep before the 5th song. Haha.

10. So clearly I do not have any problems with insomnia whatsoever. And I usually have sweet sound sleep too. 99% of the time.

11. The 1% of the time is when I have bad dreams. The last bad dream I had was over here. I woke up crying and feeling really lousy and it felt so real I didn't talk to the person I dreamt of for a week.

12. I used to think that tan is beautiful but now it's the fairer the better.

13. I sometimes wish I had an extraordinary talent in drawing or playing some instrument like the piano.

14. And since I'm running out of things to say and Nov wanted to know, my first ever crush would probably be my cousin, simply 'cos I thought he was goodlooking and he protected me from all the other cousins who bullied me when we played together. Haha. Silly, I know.

15. I don't think I've eaten more than 10, or maybe even 5, pieces of papaya since I was 12 'cos I prob ate damn alot of it during one recess and ended puking everything out in the middle of class. All that orange puke. Ew. I prob told this story quite a few times already.

16. To make up for some of the boring points, here's one I prob haven't told a soul before. I smoked my first cigarette when I was 9 or 10? Well it was just for fun and it was so horrid I decided never to touch cigarettes again.

17. I know it's not true but personally, I think tears are a form of weakness. So yeah. For me it's cry only before God and not before man. Of course I haven't always been successful in holding back tears at will.

18. This one's from Nov too. I haven't thought about a dream date - prob too pragmatic to think about such things. But my dream vacation would be to go watch the Northern Lights all night, for a few nights.

19. I want to visit all the Disneylands in the world in my lifetime. Yeah I'd still go try the rides even if I'm 40. (at least that's what I think for now)

20. Ideally, I wanna have FOUR kids. Yeah most people think I'm mad. Haha. And I intend to be the kinda Mom who plays Xbox with her kids.

21. I love good food. I rather starve than eat crappy food. And I'd spend my last dollar on food rather than shopping. You get the idea.

22. The one boyband I liked but found it too embarrassing to admit was NSync. I still think they've got some good songs.

23. I've been thinking about this for the longest time ever. If I had to choose to retain only ONE sense, I can't decide between sight and hearing. For a while I chose hearing, since sights could be described in words but it was harder with sounds.

24. Some of the sweetest things I've heard, and can remember offhand:
"So which Singapore food do you miss most?
None. Maybe her."
"You're one of my best friends no one's ever gonna be good enough for you."
"If it weren't for you, I'd go crazy here."

FINALLY. Man was that a chore. And to spare my friends, I'm not tagging anyone. Haha.
